There seems to be a disconnect between clothing designers and dry cleaners these days. Have you noticed that more of your buttons are coming back cracked and broken?
I recently asked my local dry cleaner here in DC about this issue and she said thicker buttons are the cause. This has frustrated me because I suck at sewing buttons back on and dry cleaners don’t have thicker buttons to replace the broken ones.
If only cracked, chipped buttons were trendy…
